I don't know it depends on the Corps, I mean Davouts rear-guard had no time to be reluctant, I would say Fearless Trained- not the vetrans from 1805 but it was either fight these cossaks off or die.

i have a bunch of 25mm which I based 2"x1" for infantry with 3 models on a stand, I don't know the basing for the other games here but 2"1 is fine for my version.

Rivers, I'd say if you want to make a battalion list then look at some real OOBs that should have some info for you. Although I imagine they are more help at Brigade/Division level games.
