Hrm, on further thought, perhaps, though this is too much a change in the way the basic game works, one phase in which a unit can do something? Move, Shoot, or Assualt?

When you consider range though, have to play in how far yo can move in a turn.. I don't think it would fly well if a unit can move right out of range and into your face without the other unit not bein ... |

Small for Skirmishers, Medium for Line. If we remove a base at a time, we need to look at how easy it will be to kill a base.

Well, Sounds like 2 medium bases is the way to go. So, whats the basing convention going to be for skirmishers, cav, and arty then? |

Have to say I prefer the 4 small bases over the 2 mediums, other than that, I like what I am seeing. Of course, majority rules.  |

I think it works out pretty good: And easy for us to rebase, for in my case I do all mine on thin metal bases, just glue the base to a FOW base, and reflock. |

*hrms* My only concearn with the 2 bases is a unit convention is that its awefully small, and hard to represent larger and smaller units. Up it to three, and thats more than fine.
