Hi all...

Looks ok at first glance through.... a lot like Victory in the Age, though?

Can I just say that I am always annoyed by the rulesets (Such as Victory!) that claim that a battalion is made up of 3 companies, 2 platoons in each? WW2, mostly, yes. Napoleonic period? NO,NO,NO!!!!! It varies wildly from Nation to Nation, and from year to year. You would be far better to say that a Battalion is made up of 6 stands, varied upwards, or downwards for larger or smaller Battalions. Don't try to name the smaller units, you are only going to annoy a Napoleonic purist.... and there are many out there MUCH more vitriolic than me!

Richard

Richard, you are right it does look like Victory in the Age, I copied the ruleset and then added some things from FoW, Warhammer Rogue Trader, WRG and other stuff off the internet. The rules, Victory in the Age, are a good starting point to expand from.

I agree, Battalions did vary from nation to nation and I don't like one size fits all battalion structure but this can be corrected in an army list section.
