The Napoleonic Age covered nearly 20 tumultuous years. There were changes in organization, tactics, uniforms, and governments. Which slice of the Napoleonic pie tastes sweetest to you?

Being an Brit at heart, the Peninsula gets my vote. 1809-1814 offers plenty of gaming opportunities. The battles are smaller and more managable. The forces equally matched.

I could almost repeat Sharpes answer, word for word, but instead I shall let my vote stand- The Peninsular War.... Not, as you say, a sideshow!

Having read all Bernard Cornwell's Sharpe series I echo Richard's and Sharpe's sediments, that is the Penninsular War followed closesly by the Hundred days and Russia 1812.
