Ottoman Turk Empire

I've been looking around the Internet for Information on this army during the Napoleonics. some say they were allies of Napoleon other say their were enemies. What is the truth?

Also has anyone got any idea on what the army was like, weapons formations and tactics because I am trying to do a list but with no information I can't get too far

Armies of the Ottoman Empire 1775-1820, Osprey Men-at-arms 314 has a good basic out line of the Turks in this period plus a good look at what they looked like.

The Nizam-i-cedit are the Europen style/trained infantry and the rest of the forces are similar to earlier periods.

AB have some Turks available through Eureka:
