My Prussian army list for this endeavor is going to be based on Yorck's Corps ...

Quote:
II (Yorck) Corps was formed from the forces that had formally been the 27th Division of X Corps that he had expertly extracated from Russia to 20000 men with a further 13000 in depots in East Prussia between the Vistula and Niemen Rivers.

1st (Oberst von Hunerbein) Brigade: 1st Combined IR (3 Bns), 2nd Combined IR (3 Bns), 3rd Combined IR (3 Bns), 7th Fus Bn (Fus/IR3 (2nd East Prussian)), 1st Combined Hussar Regt (200 horses), 2nd Horse Battery, 1st and 3rd 6 pdr Battery

2nd (Oberst von Horn) Brigade: 4th (Leib) Combined Regt (3 Bns), 5th Combined Regt (3 Bns), 6th Combined Regt (3 Bns), 2nd Combined Hussar Regt (200 horses), 3rd Horse Battery, 2nd and 6th 6 pdr Battery

Cavalry Reserve (GM von Corswandt) Brigade: 1st Combined Dragoons, 2nd Combined Dragoons, 1st Horse Battery

Reserve Artillery (Major von Schmidt): Ω 3rd 12 pdr Battery, 1st 6pdr Battery, 5 Park columns, 1 Handwerker column, 3 Field Pioneer Columns

Further mulling over Scott's suggestion of going with Division level battles instead of Corps, I revisited my Prussian army list and took the second Brigade (Division) from Yorck's Corps ...

II Brigade (Division)
- Oberst von Horn (1 Base / 2-4 Figures)
- 4th (Leib) Combined Regt
1 HQ Base
4 Grenadier Company Bases (1 Battalion)
= 26 Figures (at 6 figs per company base + 2 HQ figs)

- 5th Combined Regt
1 HQ Base
8 Musketeer Company Bases (2 Battalions)
4 Fusileer Company Bases (1 Battalion)
= 74 Figures (at 6 figs per company base + 2 HQ figs)

- 6th Combined Regt
1 HQ Base
8 Musketeer Company Bases (2 Battalions)
4 Fusileer Company Bases (1 Battalion
= 74 Figures (at 6 figs per company base + 2 HQ figs)

- 2nd & 6th 6 pdr Battery
1 HQ Base
4 Section Bases (3 Cannon & 1 Howitzer Sections of 1 Gun & crew each

- 1st Combined Hussar Regt
1 HQ Base
3-4 Large Squadron Bases
= 14-18 Figures (at 4 figs per large squadron base + 2 HQ figs)

- 3rd Horse Battery
1 HQ Base
3 Section Bases (3 Cannon Sections of 1 Gun & crew each

Are oppenents the problem? Or miniatures? Right now, miniatures are the problem. I am using 1/72 scale with FOW bases. Works great! Just got lots to paint.

Hope all goes well with the painting.
I have enough painted miniatures to play. That's really not the hurdle.
