It so happens that I am a quarter Danish, (as Nana came to the US in 1904) so I have been doing a little research on Denmark's involvement in the Napoleonic Wars. It seems they were minor players, and spent most of the time in conflict with Sweden. What I can't find are references to the type of battle formations and uniforms they used. If I wanted to portray them would I use Prussian figures, French, or someone else? I would appreciate any direction at all.

Thank you Evan. It took me a few moments to find the English flag---- I thought I was going to have to brush up on my French.

The Shako looks French, but the uniform looks more like a British cut, or am I crazy?

They look like Polish infantry with French shakos?

Had a quick search as this is something close to my heart as I have a Swedish army I been working on for years.

Strong hold:

Though they have no picture.

Falcon also make Danes, I have some of their Swedes and they are OK but only have one pose per type. But they don't seem to have a working link at the moment.

Eureka have 18mm Danes and Swedes on their 300 club but it may be some time before they make them when I asked Rob about it.

Minifigs made some as well.

Swedes, eh? The little research I've done so far tells me the Swedes and Danes hotly contested the territory around them. Funny, but til now I never really noticed how closely the Danish peninsula came to touching Scandanavia. I had always thought it was smooth sailing from the Baltic Sea to the North Sea, but it was really quite congested. Kind of makes you wonder how different European history might be if it had remained a continuous land bridge, making the Baltic an inland sea. Hmmmm.......

Anyway, thanks for the interest and the links. I'll be sure to check them out.
