I'm still deciding exactly how I'm going to rebase all my existing Napoleonics, but once I do decide on a consistent and aesthetically pleasing scheme, I'll be sure to post photos of the first few battalions.
Currently my thought is to have 8-12 figures per medium base in two ranks with two such bases representing a battalion/regiment. Given that both my armies are effectively painted and constructed with 16-24 figures per battalion, I'm really not sure I want to deviate too much from this. Particularly as I have a matched pair of armies and I cannot see myself painting any more napoleonics ever again, apart from some cavalry, artillery and wagons.

Yeah, I'm kind of liking the $100 range for a basic army. I'm also liking the Corps sized arrangement the best where two medium bases makes a batallion ... mainly because that's what works best with my existing figs. |
