Would it be possible to play with 25mm models? I have tons lying around. I was thinking just half the number of models to a base? |

i have a bunch of 25mm which I based 2"x1" for infantry with 3 models on a stand, I don't know the basing for the other games here but 2"1 is fine for my version. |

Why is it that none of you guys live around me? I've got a bunch of 25/28mm Napoleonics that I've always wanted to do skirmish battles with, but I can never find anyone who'll actually turn up or a game. |

Dillingham, do you have a copy of Games Workshops Lord Of The Rings Strategy Battle Game?
I have made an adaption for WWII and could easily do one for Napoleonics. It would make a perfect half company sized action! |

I'm not sure if I still have it or not, but I've played it. That would be a most intriguing prospect. I've only used a rules set based on Warhammer English Civil War the couple of times I've gotten to play. |

I highly suggest you try and find the book. A conversion into Nap would be very simple. I will start work on it! |

If using a regular Medium FOW base for 25/28mm figures, it is possible to get 6 of them if marching or advancing to give the impression of shoulder to shoulder ranks of the troops.
For skirmish units, 2 per medium base or one per small base.
Just my 2 Francs worth.

fWIW, Phil did tell me when we kicked this forum off that he'd been playing around with 25mm figures.
Personally, I'd prefer 15's for large battles, but I do love my 25's for Sharpe-esque styled Skirmishes ... whenever I can convince an opponent to give it a try. |
