I've been playing "Victory in the Ages" which is played on the brigade level. One stand of cavalry represents a squadron and two or three of them represent a company. One stand of infantry is a platoon and two is a company.A number of companies and an officer make a battalion.Artillery is based two guns to a large stand.Hope I helped.Any comments on the painted troops? |

Your figures look very nice. (The photos are much better than the first ones posted.) Can't wait to see a whole squadron of hussars painted up.

Figures look great! I like having six men to a medium base, it gives the feeling of massed troops that we have come to expect with napoleonic wargaming, but doesnt break our pocketbook. Have you had a chance to test them out yet?
I am currently rebasing my napoleonics following "victory in the ages" point scheme, and six men to a stand. Two inf stands to a Coy, and for the French, six coy to a battalion. 4 fusiliers 1 grenadier 1 voltigeurs. I really like the set up. My cav are 4 stands to a large base for med and heavy cav, and 3 for light cav. Batteries are 2 guns to a large stand, and two bases to a full battery.
How are you doing your skirmishers? Two men to a small base? All help is appreciated. |

Have you been working on (or playing with) this army at all recently, Del'pech? |
